About the Program
The Program
MoveIT! classes started in Olympia when a physical therapist, a recreational therapist, and a fitness specialist/educator combined their skills to develop a program for individuals living with Parkinson's Disease that was accessible, affordable, and would positively impact the quality of life of it's participants. With the support of the Olympia Senior Center, the program began with classes at Lacey Senior Center once a week.
Today we offer two levels of classes- PDMoveIT! and PD PowerUP!, with four classes per week at three different sites.
